Is a Projector Right for You?

A projector can give you a 100"+ screen for a fraction of what a same-size TV would cost. But projectors aren't for every room. The two biggest factors are how dark you can make the space and how far you can place the projector from the screen wall.

If you have a dedicated room you can darken, a standard throw projector 10–15 feet from the wall will give you an incredible 100–120" cinematic experience. For living rooms with more light, an ultra-short throw projector paired with an ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen can still look stunning — and it sits right on your TV stand like a soundbar.

Modern laser projectors last 20,000+ hours (that's 10+ years of daily use) and require almost zero maintenance. They've come a long way from the bulky, dim projectors of the past.
